As previously reported, WWE announced that Hulk Hogan has been added to the company’s upcoming tour of Japan. One of the reasons that people speculated as to why Hogan was added was to help boost slow ticket sales, as WWE’s recent popularity in Japan has declined.
Apparently the move helped, as when the Hogan announcement was made and word got out about it in Japan, there was indeed a big rush on ticket sales for the events.
The shows Hogan will be a part of, which take place on July 11th and July 12th in Tokyo, Japan, will mark Hogan’s first time appearing on a Japanese wrestling show in over ten years.
