- Below is video of WWE United States Champion Baron Corbin arriving to tonight’s WWE Clash of Champions pay-per-view for the Triple Threat with Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin. Corbin says he doesn’t need strategy going into the match. He knocks Roode for making his name off a catchphrase and says Ziggler really isn’t that good despite doing a few things in his career. Corbin says he will continue to steal people’s dreams and shove the title in the faces of wannabes. Corbin says tonight will be the End of Days for Roode and Ziggler.
- In a bit of trivia for tonight’s Clash pay-per-view, this will be the 16th WWE pay-per-view of 2017. That ties 2006 as the most pay-per-view events in a single year in WWE history.
- Below is video of Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens backstage at Clash of Champions as they prepare to fight for their WWE careers against Shinsuke Nakamura and Randy Orton with SmackDown bosses Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan as special referees. Owens rants and says it doesn’t matter what happens tonight because they are not leaving WWE, they are not losing the match. Sami also rants and says they are here to save the day as they are the good guys. Sami says the bottom line is that they aren’t going anywhere. They know what’s at stake and this is their show.
