-WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley performed another stand-up comedy show at Zaine’s Comedy Club in Rosemont, Illinois on Thursday, August 8th. Foley performed the same routine he has been traveling across the country with, however, at this show, Foley brought Lisa Marie Varon on-stage and interacted with her a bit during his set. Varon, who worked with Foley in WWE as “Victoria,” most recently worked as a TNA Knockout under the ring name “Tara.”

-The Gateway Grizzlies baseball team is celebrating Wrestling Legends Night at the GCS Ballpark today and tomorrow. The event will feature a full wrestling ring, a meet-and-greet with legendary wrestlers and an appearance by WWE Hall Of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler. Lawler will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the game. Also appearing at the game will be Baron Von Raschke, Ken Patera, Rocky Johnson and Larry Matysik. WWE Hall Of Famer Harley Race was scheduled to appear, but as noted previously, Race dislocated his hip recently and had to cancel the appearance.
-The movie “Pain and Gain”, which features Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Mark Walhberg, will be opening this weekend in Australia. David Stratton, the country’s lead critic, gave the film two stars.
